Panel Discussion: Evaluation of Strength Margins and Allowables in Brazed Joints
Las Vegas Convention Center
Room S228 - Professional Program registration not required for attendance at this session.
Panel Chair: Dr. Y. Flom, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center
The discussion panel will focus on their understanding of the brazed joints strength allowables, methods of strength margins evaluation, definitions of the brazed joints failure and other aspects of the brazed joint design that the participants would like to discuss. Among the expected participants are representatives of Honeywell, Pratt & Whitney, GE, Sandia, Curtis Wright, Transonic Combustion, Titanium Brazing and other companies. The panel format will be an informal technical interchange.
